Staying up to date with carrier postcode classifications
Many UK and international carriers apply additional charges or service restrictions for deliveries to out of area postcodes. These can include (but are not limited to):
Remote or extended area postcodes
Highlands, islands, and rural locations
Areas affected by congestion or environmental charges
Locations requiring specialist handling or routing
When we issue a HubEurope rate card, it includes the out of area postcode information provided by the carrier at the time the rate card is published.
However, carriers review and update these postcode lists from time to time, and changes can be made outside of our control.
Important information for customers
To ensure full transparency:
- The out of area postcode details shown on your rate card are correct at the time of issue
- Carriers may add, remove, or amend postcodes after this date
- It is the customer’s responsibility to check the most up-to-date postcode classifications directly with the carrier before shipping
