HubEurope Ltd – Terms and Conditions (“Terms”)

These Terms govern the carriage of parcels, packets and mail items (“Parcel(s)”) by members of the HubEurope group of companies (together referred to as “HubEurope”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The contracting entity providing the Services to you will be the relevant HubEurope group company identified in the applicable rate card, service order or invoice.

HubEurope Ltd is registered at Bond Street Chambers, 1 Bond Street, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3NP.

Please read these Terms carefully, in particular clauses 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, which set out vital information about liability, exclusions, and claims.

By accessing www.HubEurope.com (“the Website”) or using any HubEurope service, You (“You”, “Sender”, “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Our Privacy and Cookie Policy. If You do not agree, You must not use the Website or Our services.

  1. Definitions

Additional Compensation” – Optional additional compensation purchased by You to extend Our liability for loss or damage, subject to these Terms.

Agreement” – These Terms, the Privacy and Cookie Policy, and any applicable Service Order.

Authorised Location” – Any drop-off or collection point approved by Us or listed on the Website.

Carrier” – Any third-party delivery provider used by Us, including DPD, Evri, Yodel, Royal Mail, DHL, UPS, FedEx or any international delivery partner.

Charges” – Fees payable for the Services, as displayed at checkout or otherwise agreed.

Consignment” – One or more Parcels sent under a single order.

Export Items” – Parcels carried to or from countries outside the UK.

Prohibited Item(s)” – Items not permitted within Our network (as listed on the Website).

Rate Card” – Carrier and Service specific terms in addition to the general terms including pricing, payment terms, contract length, and applicable services. 

Restricted Item(s)” – Items that may be sent only under specific conditions or with additional information.

Recipient” – The person or entity to whom the Parcel is addressed.

Service(s)” – Any parcel delivery, collection or related service provided by HubEurope.

 
  1. Scope of Service

HubEurope provides carriage throughout:

  • The United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland)
  • The Republic of Ireland
  • The European Union
  • International destinations worldwide

via integrated Carrier networks.

We act as an intermediary between You and the Carrier. We arrange carriage and customer support, but We are not the Carrier ourselves and therefore do not assume Carrier liability..

All carriage is subject to these Terms and the Carrier’s own terms, policies, operational procedures and restrictions.

  1. Use of the Website

You must not use the Website for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.

You must not impair or disrupt Website performance, upload harmful data, or attempt unauthorised access.

Misuse may result in civil or criminal liability.

You indemnify Us for any losses arising from Your breach.

Website access may be interrupted and is provided “as is”.

  1. The Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire contract between You and Us and supersede all previous representations.

Applicable international conventions (CMR, Montreal Convention) may apply.

 
  1. Prohibited & Restricted Items

You must check item eligibility at: www.HubEurope.com/content/prohibited-items

Prohibited Items are carried entirely at Your risk and without compensation.

We may intercept, dispose of or return prohibited items and recover costs.

Restricted Items require correct supporting information; failure voids liability.

  1. Sender Responsibilities

You must ensure correct labelling, packaging, customs information, and compliance with applicable laws.

Incorrect declarations void compensation.

  1. Charges and Payment

Charges must be paid in accordance with the payment terms agreed at the point of service acceptance, as set out in the applicable rate card.

Surcharges may apply for remote areas, customs fees, returns, overweight parcels, address corrections, or Carrier operational charges. We reserve the right to pass on carrier-imposed or newly introduced charges, even after booking where unavoidable.

Late or failed payments will be subject to service restrictions, interest on late payments and reasonable debt recovery costs.

All prices quoted exclude VAT and any other applicable taxes or duties. VAT, GST or equivalent local taxes may be payable at the prevailing rate, depending on your location.

  1. Delivery & Transit

Transit times are estimates, not guarantees.

Carriers may deliver to neighbours, safe places, or pickups based on their policies.

We are not liable for delays caused by carrier operations, customs, weather, or routing changes.

  1. Liability

Liability is limited to Carrier compensation unless Additional Compensation is purchased.

We are not liable for consequential losses, delays, customs actions, misrouting, or address errors.

Compensation is void where packaging is inadequate, items are Prohibited, or declarations are incorrect.

  1. Additional Compensation

Must be purchased at booking.

Does not apply to Prohibited Items, Restricted Items lacking documentation, inadequate packaging, delay, or inherent fragility.

Loss-only cover excludes damage.

  1. Claims Process

Claims timescales vary by carrier and will be communicated separately. Customers must submit damage and loss claims in accordance with the applicable carrier’s terms and conditions.

Claims must include full evidence and Senders must co-operate with the Carriers requests for information and timescales.

If the Carrier rejects a claim their decision is final and therefore HubEurope has no liability.

Only the Sender (not Recipient) may submit claims.

  1. Export & Customs Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with export/import rules.

We are not liable for customs seizure, inspection, duties, delays, or incorrect declarations.

  1. Return-to-Sender (RTS)

Parcels may be returned for incorrect addresses, unpaid duties, refusal, or maximum delivery attempts exceeded.

Return charges will be passed to You.

  1. Termination

The contract term shall be as specified in the applicable rate card.

Either party may terminate this Agreement in the event of a material breach or insolvency of the other party.

Upon termination, all outstanding invoices shall become immediately due and payable.

Any parcels already in transit at the point of termination will continue to be processed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Data Protection

Personal data is processed under Our Privacy and Cookie Policy.

You confirm You have authority to supply Recipient data.

  1. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond Our reasonable control.

  1. Assignment

We may assign or subcontract Services. You may not assign rights without written approval.

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law.

English courts have exclusive jurisdiction, though We may enforce rights in other jurisdictions.
